Choreographer, dancer and teacher based in Barcelona with more than 18 years of professional experience. She currently runs her own company under her name.

She created the solo Dancing Danced premiered in 2016 and still touring, and in 2017 she presented Réplica, premiered in a short version at the Mercat de les Flors.

Since 2018 she has been interested in researching human relationships with the social context that relates them, investigating root proposals; from tradition to its contemporaneity in dialogue with live electronic music.

In this way, she created a trilogy with the following creations:

In 2019 she premiered the creation ÀER and in March 2022 she premiered the creation TRADERE, premiered at the Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona. TRADERE has been part of the Catalan tour promoted by the Mercat de les Flors and the Generalitat for the year 2023. In 2024 she premiered JARANA, the third part of the trilogy, at Teatros del Canal-Madrid and in 2025 at the Mercat de les Flors.

Her creations have toured Spain, France, Holland and Italy and she has received support from institutions such as the National Ballet of Marseille, Mercat de les Flors and Teatros del Canal, PimOff - Milan, among others.

Winner of several awards such as the Delfí Colomé Award 2018 for ÀER, candidate for the MAX awards for best choreography for ÀER and finalist for the Dansacat awards in the sound space category for ÀER. Nominated for the XXV Critics' Awards for best choreography and best national show for TRADERE. Award for best female cast for TRADERE at the Cenit Competition in Seville. Dansacat Award in the screendance 2024 category for JARANA. Award for best performer for Dancing Danced at the 15m2 festival in 2023. Award for support for creation for NOW within the Mit s 2017 festival, Tanzhaus Zürich residency award at the Madrid Choreographic Competition 2019 for Vaivé and finalist for the Institut del teatre 2017 Awards for Réplica.

In collaboration with other choreographers she has created 'S'he' together with Roser Tutusaus or 'Vaivé' with Miquel Barcelona.

As a commission, she has choreographed part of Móbilus by the visual theatre company Addaura, finalist in the MAX 2016 awards and several creations for Cobosmika seed's together with the audiovisual artist Ignasi Castañé.

She has provided choreographic assistance for several circus companies such as several shows by the Du'K'To company or 'E'go' by the Dikothomia company with the award for the best street show within Umore Azoka Leioa.

She has also assisted the show LEK by the Siu'giu 'Circus company and Via Via by the Circooltura company.

As a dancer she has worked with several companies since 2005 such as Pla B Dansa (Arantxa Sagardoy and Alfredo Bravo), Trànsit Dansa (Maria Rovira), Gelabert-Azzopardi, Vero Cendoya, La petita Malumaluga, Pepe Hevia Dansa, Idan Sharabi, Elephant in the Black Box (Madrid), Teresa Nieto en companyia (Madrid) and with stage directors such as Àlex Rigola (Teatre Stabile del Veneto), Carmen Portacelli, La Fura del Baus and Comediants among others.

 

As a teacher she has taught classes and workshops at Àrea, ESDM, Escola de circ Rogelio Rivel, nunArt, Menorca a Dansa, Descalzhina (Madrid), Cobosmika Seeds, Dass project (St. Petersburg) and has been teaching for 6 years at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona.

 

She currently teaches in the dance and creation classroom at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

 

As complementary information, she has studied piano and saxophone at the Taller de Músics de Barcelona.
